Join with us and take your students on a wild learning adventure with the National Wildlife Federation's Schoolyard Habitats® Program. You and your students will learn how to create an accessible wildlife habitat site that you can use as an outdoor classroom in your own schoolyard!
These thriving learning environments can be used to study all subjects — science, math, language arts, social studies, and more. Wildlife habitat sites provide the opportunity to teach all students, something that can be challenging in the classroom.
This universally designed course includes activity adaptations for students with hearing, learning, motor, and visual disabilities.
